Ice rescue is dangerous! This clip is NOT a substitute for training and practice under the direction and supervision of water rescue instructors. Direct contact ice rescues are extremely challenging and should be used as a last resort. This clip is intended to provide a brief overview of a direct contact technique using a rescue sling.
